Refund Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Before work begins
Every project requires a 50% advance after the scope and price are agreed. If you cancel before any work begins or project costs are committed, the advance is refundable, less any non-refundable payment or transfer fees.
After work begins
Once work begins, the advance covers reserved time, discovery and work completed. Any refund is limited to the unused portion after completed work and committed third-party costs are deducted. Completed or approved stages are non-refundable.
Client delays and cancellation
If required content, access or feedback is delayed for more than 30 days, the project may be paused. Work completed and costs already committed remain payable. Cancellation requests must be made in writing.
Maintenance and renewals
You may cancel a future renewal before its next billing date. Work already delivered during a maintenance period is non-refundable. Unused future service may be refundable only where confirmed in writing.
How to request a refund
Contact Bit & Bytes with your project name, payment details and reason for the request. Eligible refunds are returned through the agreed payment method within a reasonable processing period.
